My First Drone Test Flight

January 14, 2026—Middletown Springs, Vermont

Somewhere between needing absolutely nothing and still clicking around B&H, I stumbled onto an Antigravity drone—and, because I have zero self-control when it comes to well-made toys, I sent it to Amelia with a casual "thoughts?" She said yes, which was all the permission I needed. This is the first flight right here at the farm—yes, that's me standing in the field in hi-vis, grinning like an idiot, trying to look cool but also trying not to crash it into something. After spending 45 minutes upgrading firmware, trying everything to skip the tutorial, and get cell signal, this was the end result. Good times.
