My Music Playlist
This is the music that lived in the background while I was becoming who I am. It played in the firehouse at two in the morning, in apartments that never quite felt permanent, and later, in a house surrounded by pine trees where winter stays longer than it should. I don't listen to these songs for nostalgia—I listen to remember the emotional feelings of certain years. They are steady, mid-tempo, deliberate. No glitter. No escape hatch. Just voices that understand fracture without dramatizing it. These were the songs that let me sit inside my own head without needing to run from it.
